Roast a whole turkey, up to 22 pounds, pot roast, pork roast, ham, or whole chickens. Bake cookies, cakes, pies, quiche, and even whole meals. Cook soups, stews, lasagna, and hot dishes. Make enough chili for the whole gang. Steam/poach vegetables, seafood, and poultry. Slow cooks less tender cuts of meat, too. This roaster contains differentiating features such as an extra-high domed, self-basting cover to retain moisture, and a "Circle of Heat" heating element that cooks from the side for moist, even cooking. The removable cookwell makes clean-up a snap. Automatic temperature control maintains even cooking temperature. Stainless steel roaster, cookwell and a stainless steel cover.

This DOES INCLUDE Stainless Steel Liner pan, has rack, but no divided trays. Do BURN OFF with liner & lid removed OUTSIDE for 30-60 minutes, as directed, so smoking fumes are not a problem when cooking indoors the first time.-Has reasonable size cord but could definitely be longer so at least could be 6 ft. from the plug. -Exterior does get hot so should be kept away from anything that melts with heat, or away from children's hands/bodies. -Easy to clean. Lined Stainless Steel liner with foil & sprayed liner with oil & poured in 2 cups water and worked great for roasting. Surprised at the price increase as I paid half this. -The included booklet has very few recipes so don't count on it for much help. Rather look to your normal baking recipes and realize this is cooking differently in a steamer type action like a huge roaster in your oven. Think more slow cooker crock pot recipes. Would recommend this product. The cook well walls are so thin that when carrying, the unit moves in and out from the sides where you carry the handles. Constructed to go under the lip of the unit the walls are crimped in the corners to fit under the rounded design. The cook well (not the insert) is very ill fitting and you can see and feel the crimping on the outside, since this is not a tight fit heat escapes from the corners.I purchased this to use as a slow cooker but have not been able to use it for that because the low setting heats too high, I don't know if this is a malfunction of the thermostat but it's HOT. I know the outside of these units usually get very warm and they caution not to touch it while in use, but the walls are so thin that just quick contact will leave you with a burn.
