It is difficult in fact to keep the iPad off of the keyboard. #2: I suppose by design of the product and the shape of the device, this cannot be avoided, but when propping the iPad in a landscape configuration, it is almost completely vertical. This makes it difficult to work with in most situations. In a portrait configuration, there is a good slope to the screen. #3: Maybe nit-picking here: The outside cover on the back of the iPad extends to the width of the case. My only issue is that I have a ghost armor screen/body cover on my ipad and when the case is closed, it presses into the Ghost Armor covering leaving a thin linear indentation on the side of the ipad. This occurs because the edges of the keyboard are raised so that the ipad screen does not come into direct contact with the keyboard while the case is closed. In my opinion, this could have been solved by rounding the keyboard edge so that more surface area would come into contact with the face of the ipad, thus decreasing the liklihood of this occurring. This is unfortunate, because there are barely any options as far as keyboard cases with rotating swivels go. If you have ghost armor and don't mind a permanent indentation on your screen, go with this case, it works very well. Unfortunately for me, incompatibility with ghost armor is a deal breaker. There are thin ridges around the edges that is supposed to seperate the ipad from the keyboard, but it slips off them very easily.2.) It can only realistically hold the ipad in the "portrait" position. The "landscape" position is held vertically, which is not acceptable unless you have a desk or lap that is at the same level as your head. 3.) At first the ipad fell out constantly, but then I realized that this was because I was not fully snapping it in place. The ipad is at least held securely in the display case, so this does work. 4.)
