It's nothing close to to an ipod. So if it's a cheaper alternative you're looking for, this aint it (in my opinion). I just got mine today, so I'm still playing around & learning how to do everything. To me, it has a few flaws. One, the touch screen could be better (more sensitive, responsive) to touch. And two, the screen doesn't flip vertical/horizontal when rotating it. Has to be used one way. Plays awsome videos, amazing picture. The built in speaker works great. It has three themes, you can change wallpaper on. Ebook reader looks nice. Plays music perfect. About ten EQ sound settings. A good pair of head phones helps. I haven't plugged it into my plasma yet, but can't wait to test that out. This is a good player for the price. Has a lot of features. And doesn't blanking need itunes. If you like itunes, buy and ipod. If you don't, like me, buy this. The package was open, but nothing was missing, it is just the military mail. OK, manual that came with the player is in chinese/korean, no english. Player is easy to use and you can pick up everything very fast. The touch screen works good, you have to remember it is only 53 dollars it is no iPhone/Pad. 4 GB memory is sufficient for music and some music videos. It came charged, with head phones and USB cable. You can view photos, listen to music and watch videos. It also has a decent speaker and it fits into front pocket of my shirt. I tried e-books in txt format. You can read it, change size of letters and position, horizontal/vertical. Conslusion is: Good value for the money people.
